The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all catering activities. Specifically, this position will focus on managing the overall success of daily catering, special events, and onsite conference center catering. This position will manage other areas such as sales and marketing focused on increasing the catering business, event order processes and excellent client communication.

The Catering Sales Manager will create and employ “best practices” for sales and event execution including set up, service and breakdown procedures. Create and manage sales campaigns and maintain scheduling and training of catering employees. This position will lead by professional example in all areas while moving towards successful delivery of business objectives that align with the company goals and the client’s expectations.

The Catering Sales Manager should possess a strong knowledge of culinary/catering programming; be able to work well with Kitchen team and develop strategic planning for catering and execution of events. Follow local and company health department regulations, human resources’ policies, and company standards and expectations of catering events, while focusing on high food quality, freshness, and presentation. Strong social media skills are a plus!

Work with the catering team to develop a successful, productive catering environment that is customer focused. Ensure that all employees are well-trained in all catering-related facets of the business. Solves problems professionally, rapidly and fairly. Maintains a positive working relationship with client, customers, and team. Maintains a professional attitude and demeanor at all times.
